Grown Man Expertly Imitates All of the Classic First-Day-of-School Poses, Children Everywhere Are Jealous

The first day of school as a kid is probably the most exciting thing in the world.

Imagine, you’ve chosen your perfect outfit, you got a new backpack, and you have one of those multi-color ink click pens in your pocket and it’s only unicorn colors. Next thing you know, you can hear the school bus pulling up and – “OMG NO WAY, it’s your best friend Patricia, and she’s got those light up shoes that everybody wanted!” Life is good.

With butterflies in your stomach, you watch as the bus comes down your street towards your house, anxiously clutching the brown-bagged PB and J your mom wrote your name on and all the sudden, through a buzz of excitement, your parents cheer and congratulate you, capturing this exciting new chapter of your life in a photo.

What kids don’t realize when they’re 7, is that when they’re bubbling with happy emotions and anticipation, they completely lack facial control, limb control, and most importantly they have no idea how cute and proud they look. Nearly every kid glows the same way on the first day of school.

One man on TikTok known as King Bo, made a compilation of imitations of these endearing first-day photos and the results are simply hilarious. Maybe it’s because he has a belly big enough to consume a 3rd grader with no trace, but King Bo’s version of the first day of school pic is absolutely amazing.

He nails the look of anticipation, the swagger, and the absolute drip of a stunner kid on their way to meet their new classmates and teachers. Of course, kids also always have to have the matching lunchbox, t-shirt, and backpack on the first day. It's really the only day you can come in, make a dazzling impression on all the new kids, and let your teachers know that you WILL be doing Spiderman impressions all year long. 

There's also always that one girl that dresses way too old for her age. Sis, you're 8 years old. Your mom should know better than to dress you like you're a Spice Girl. However, that's always the little girl that popular, knows too much, and is a bit of a brown-noser to her teachers. 

He even has the menacing kid’s look on lock too! Why is it that the one kid that thinks they're hardcore, flashes some kind of hand signal in every picture? Why you biting your lip like that? Settle down Dalton, you're wearing your brother's hand-me-down Jordans. 
 

King Bo absolutely crushes his imitations and has us all nostalgic of the good ol' days where we could color ourselves in Elmers glue without consequences, we could eat the same bland food for every meal, and were infinitely excited about meeting new people.
