'People are so cruel!': Heroic trash man finds three kittens in the garbage truck compactor and saves them before they get crushed

Humanity never ceases to outdo itself, proving time and time again that some people are simply the worst. For example, there must be a special circle in hell for people who dispose of pets, WHO ARE STILL LIVING, in the trash.

However, the universe has a way of offsetting the worst in humanity by giving us priceless human beings who are kind, caring, and heroic, like Terry.

Terry, aka TURBOTERRY77, is just a regular, wholesome guy: he’s a trash man, a father, oh and he saves baby kittens. Earlier this summer, Terry uncovered the dark underbelly of humanity while working his regular trash route.

It all started as a regular day and a regular route of loading trash into the truck, compacting it, and moving on to the next house. But by the will of God or the fates aligned, Terry heard a faint meow coming from the trash compactor just before he engaged it. A small clutch of baby kittens had been thrown away into the trash can and were up to the gills in debris, food waste, and plastic bags.

It's a miracle he even saw them! Lucky for those kitties, one of them was loud enough for Terry to hear their distress call and he jumped into action to save them, sifting through garbage and pulling them out one by one to safety. Sure, it's sometimes his job to get down and dirty, but it's certainly above his call to action to lean shoulder deep into hot garbage just to do the right thing.

Terry found three kittens that day, and after the first kitty, it seems clear that this is not his first time encountering animals that are disposed of in the garbage. Instinctively, he goes back to search for the others and finds that his hunch is correct- some dirtbag threw out three healthy, beautiful kittens.

Chronicles of a trash man

Terry has since rehabilitated those three kittens in his home with his young daughter, getting them strong enough for adoption. It’s a good thing that good people are still out there in this world, fighting the impunity of terrible folks and doing their best to save kittens, and perform a number of good deeds and charitable acts.

We salute you, Terry, for leading the charge for good people everywhere.
