One of the many reasons that people have been so glad to work from home the past couple of years is that they don't have to spend 40+ hours a week in some of the most depressing architecture known to man. With their glaring strip lighting and all that bleak gray furniture, the average office is not a nice place to be, day in and day out.
Besides the odd personalized mug or beloved family photo, though, most workers don't make the effort to make their work space nicer. There's plenty of good reasons for this — no one's hanging wallpaper for their crappy admin temp job, after all. However, those people who do find the time to go the extra mile really go for it. A charming Twitter thread has recently showcased those cubicle-proud employees who have made the effort in improving the appearance of their workspace (or pranking their co-workers). It's a pretty creative way to waste time on the clock, if you can get away with it.
