Ultimately I get to choose what behaviors are acceptable for my dog and jumping up on people is not one of them. This is for the ultimate safety of my dog and those around me. Doggo owners everywhere can likely relate to this interesting comment. Doggo owners are the only ones responsible for the training and behavior of their doggos, and when other humans come in to the mix, doggos can get very confused about what is appropriate behavior.

I don't care if your dog is friendly, mine's not. (Actually, she's not aggressive just leash frustrated, but that's not a concept a most people understand when they clearly don't even care if she is aggressive.)

Font - Melodic_Echidna · 6 days ago Any variation of "they only need some love" The affection and deep bond between humans and dogs is a wonderful thing, but a dog still needs appropriate exercise, management, and training to be a pleasant companion. I've met too many dogs whose owners deeply cared for them but who are ill- mannered and difficult to be around.
