Adulting is one of the most relatable and infuriating periods of our lives. First of all, how long is this period of jus not now what the hell we're doing with our lives going to last? Are we meant to behave recklessly until marriage? I'm sure we can all name a good amount of people who definitely still don't know what they're doing.
Here's an idea, maybe adulting is forever. Maybe we all just slowly figure it out for the entirety of our lives and the only reason we're aware that other people are going through the same phenomenon is because of the memes that came out of it. Think about it, before social media, and memes, people only really knew the experience of their close friends. Or anyone else who chose to open up to them. Now everything is online, which isn't always good, but when it comes to struggling through adulthood, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say it feels good to know you're not alone.
