Neighbor Lies About Mulberry Wine Success To Mess With Eavesdropping Neighbor, Cuts Her Own Tree Down

Having a bad neighbor is a nightmare. When dealing with a real piece of work in the wild, at least you can just walk away and never see them again. But if you share a property line with an inconsolable sack of garbage, it's a lot harder to ignore someone else's miserable life. In this case, this person's neighbor had a habit of eavesdropping on their conversations. So naturally, they started a recurring lie/joke about all the wine they were making from her overhanging mulberry tree.

Taking these words as complete fact, this neighbor became consumed by hatred over the purported "successful wine business" and decided to take things into her own hands. She really thought she was getting the upper hand when she cut her own tree down. But hey, let people live their truth. Even if it is terrifically stupid, and built on lies.
