We all have fears and phobias, but we try not to let them get in the way of other people's experiences. We may be too scared to participate in the activity ourselves, but we'll support the friends that have the courage to do what we're too afraid to do. If anything, they remind us that we might be able to face our fears one day. In today's 'Am I the A$$hole?' post, OP told us about how he had plans to go to an amusement park with his housemates, and his girlfriend asked if she could tag along that day because shew as free to hang out. She has a fear of heights, but said she wouldn't hold back OP from going on any rides at the park. However, once they got there, it was a whole different story.
