Short Stories About Purrrsistent Cats That Won Over Their Hoomans

Ah, if only we had a penny for every time someone told us a story about how they were never really 'pet people', especially cat people. Animals just never sparked any interest, emotion, or joy in them. Until one day when everything suddenly changed. A tiny kitten appears on their doorstep, completely abandoned and in need of urgent care. All of a sudden, those pet barriers come crashing down, and they cannot help but feel responsible for this helpless, tiny ball of fur. Or what about the classic story of the dad that did not want a pet cat, but got one anyway. In a few days, dad becomes obsessed with the cat and the rest is forgotten history. 

So yeah, if we had a penny for every time someone told us a story in this particular genre, we'd probably be really fricken rich. So without further ado, we present to you 10 short stories of people who went from hating animals to being absolutely obsessed.
