Some people still hold onto the belief that cats… really don't care about anything. They're aloof, all the want from you is food and nothing else - all propaganda! And as cat owners, we know, for a fact, that it is propaganda. Cats are some of the most hilariously expressive animals that we have ever seen. They express shock, disgust, hunger, calmness. In face, some cats feel so much so strongly that… their expressions end up getting a little stuck.
What do we mean? Well, meet Jinx, the perpetually spooked cat who looks like a stuffed animal. Meet Gumball, the senior cat who always wears a derpy judgmental face. Meet Noodle, the cat who is forever and always having an existential crisis. Meet Boyd, the cat is seems to always be mildly surprised by everything. And today… everybody, meet Sorsha, the newest expressive cat on the list. She is know for always having a sad face. Don't worry though, she's not actually sad, she just looks like it.
We have to say that as we were scrolling, as we came across this twee, as our eyes scanned the words in preparation to view the photos for the first time, we certainly did not expect this cat to look as sad as she does. Whatever we thought we were going to see, this wasn't it. This far surpassed any and expectations that we had.
It's good to know that this kitty is in good and kind hands though. We don't know what kind of ghost she sees to make her expression this way, but we are glad that her humans are trying their best to make sure that she's happy. Truly, we love Sorsha.
