There's nothing worse than an entitled parker who refuses to respect — or even consider — other's space and right to access; they exist within their own obfuscating world and are perfectly content with littering their wheeled possessions wherever they see fit. Seldom experiencing any actual repercussions has led them to a supposition of their own immunity to consequences in perpetuity. Only something like, say, a vehicle disappearing act is going to give them any pause or make them reconsider their actions. Not that they'll actually reconsider anything — they'll just blame something or someone else instead, as seen in this story.
