It's 2022, we don't tolerate homophobic behavior—and YES, that also goes for the cowboy community. Horses don't care about the arbitrary thought of “sinning." They can't read any religious texts. They just follow the instincts in their hearts and life their best life. That is true for Jeepers Those Peepers and “RJ” Spooky Wiliker," a sweet and happy gay horse couple.
The two are based in California and, in fact, Jeepers is a Hollywood man featured in many different productions. That's right, his handler and horse mom “Pinkie Davis” works in CA training Jeepers to work in showbiz. Through her work, she has met other horses, like RJ. Jeepers and RJ became very close friends, but if you watch them, it's obvious they are more than just friends. Davis says that RJ's mom told her that her horse is usually very food aggressive and won't let any other creature near his hay—however, he will straight up Lad and the Tramp-style share his hay with his beloved Jeepers.
The wrangler made a joke post talking about how her gay horse and his boyfriend are “out queering” her and her girlfriend, so obviously, the next step would be to get them married. When she posted this however, her video was flooded with homophobic responses. Instead of responding with angry, she simply made it her mission to actually go through with getting these horses married.
Well, she has finally done it and the wedding is set to be streamed on her TikTok live THIS Sunday, December 4th!
Ever since the homophobic backlash Davis received, she has been on the search for an ordained minister to marry her gay horse and his boyfriend. It took half a year, but it's finally official. The wedding is a beautiful slap in the face to all those queer-bashing commenters, and frankly horse-haters. Why would you not want to see two horses who found love be metaphorically and lawfully united as one? So congratulations Jeepers and RJ! May your marriage be a long and happy one.
