'We're actually done this time': Girl shows you exactly how your friends in 'situationships' are always ruining everyones girl's night out

Girl groups have a complex social dynamic that can be easily tipped with one weak link. Links in the chain can only be weakened by two things: Petty girl drama and toxic men. For some reason though, it seems like every group of girls has that one friend who refuses to date normal, nice guys. There's always that one friend in the group who can't help but date douche bags and cheaters, leaving the other girls in the group to pick up the slack, compromise their nights out, and constantly console their friends who are in situationships.

Hala, an Instagram influencer and voice of a generation of girls struggling with ‘that one friend’, recently made a video that went viral for its relatability. She jokes that every friend group has at least one girl who taints every social occasion with talk of their toxic situationship. That girl is constantly seeking the approval of some random guy that presumably nobody else in the group likes, while posting revenge stories, blabbing on the phone, and taking detours to stalk their man.

They always start the night with talk of some guy, probably named Logan or Chad, who has been stringing them along for months claiming that he wants to keep things casual and doesn't want to “ruin what they have” with a label. Barf. That's definitely a red flag that your bestie has missed every time for the last 6 years.

Then of course they'll post a hot selfie of them singing “Single Ladies” while they're out with the group. That'll really send a passive aggressive message.

That'll lead to some enraged phone call that takes 45 minutes of everyone's time, while keeping the Uber meter running on the side of some back road on the way downtown. Everyone knows she's fighting with her man, but she lies about it.

You know that new club that everyone wanted to check out? Well, your toxic-situationship-friend doesn't want to go anymore. Now that she's fighting with her fake boyfriend, she wants to stalk whatever cheap dive bar that he's haunting to see if he's flirting with other girls. Jeez. At this point, it's obvious why toxic men tear apart friend groups. Even if he's not hooking up with every girl in the group, he's monopolizing your girl's mind and stealing her from you. That's YOUR baddie, go take her back. He don't deserve her.
