You may like your job, even be wildly good at it — but if your boss is constantly barking at you, adopting a flippant attitude and rude demeanor, then it doesn't matter. Simply put, this story is about an employee who had had enough of his horrible boss. He had been working at a construction company for a while, and his division was running a %44 profit margin which netted $750,000.00 USD a year. Within six months he'd already paid back the build-out, training, machines, equipment, etc… in other words, his division was incredibly successful. Unfortunately, because of this terrible boss, he decided to quit.
Fast forward a few years later, this employee gets bombarded by phone calls from the company regarding domain names. At first, he ignored the calls, but after a week of begging, he gave in and called them back. Turns out they wanted 'their domain names' back. While he had worked for his old boss, he'd been told to put them on his own personal credit card. This obviously didn't pan out so great in his ex-boss's favor.
The employee in question decided to set terms and conditions to get him back. And get him back, he did… Scroll down to read exactly what went down. For some good old malicious compliance involving a boss, an employee, and an attendance system, feel free to click here.
