AITA : Woman Seeks Advice on Dealing With Disrespectful Sister-In-Law, Quickly Discovers Her Fiancé Is the Root of the Problem
Ah, the in-laws. Just like our families, we don't choose them, but we get stuck with them. The good thing is, no one on this earth will expect you to have the strongest emotional bond with your in-laws because let's face it, you already have parents of your own. But! There is a huge difference between not being obsessed and lovey-dovey with the in-laws and being blatantly disrespected by them on a weekly, if not daily basis.
Consider this a PSA, if your partner's family starts treating you like the black swan and your partner does nothing to stop this - then you have a much more serious problem on your hands.
Like, the hero of today's Reddit story. Soon-to-be wife took to Reddit to ask whether she'd be an a$$hole if she didn't invite her sister-in-law to her wedding. She goes on to give numerous reasons why she wouldn't feel comfortable and honestly, we don't blame her. But what we loved most about this is, of course, the comment section. Fellow Redditors did not hesitate to tell her how it is and we're 100% here for it. Have a scroll for yourself and let us know what you think in the comments below!
