I have sympathy with those people who believe random things with little proof for them up to a point. There's clearly a gap in your life that needs filling if somebody decides to embellish their life with that. Still, that can only go so far before you wonder what the hell is going on inside their mind. We like to think of ourselves as the most intelligent earthly species, but boy do we not act like it sometimes. The world of conspiracy theory is a wild one, and it can also be profoundly stupid.
Case in point is one Twitter user who went viral for her claim that she had been explaining to a person younger than her that the sun was a different color when she was growing up. Maintaining that it used to be yellow, she said that the center of our solar system now appeared to be 'white and a weird shape'. Most were not convinced by her musings, although one or two individuals had some kind of explanation for them. Let's maybe leave this one to the scientists.
