Once the bride had a hunch that the Redditor and her husband have been abstractly talking about children, she decided to ask OP to step down as Maid of Honor and as a bridesmaid simply out of worry that if she did get pregnant, she would draw attention. Just in case you still haven't picked up on this, OP is not pregnant. This is fully within Bridezilla's head.
