Self-Deprecating Anxiety Memes to Giggle About in Therapy (July 29, 2023)

When you have an anxious dog, their stress is called 'separation anxiety's. They get afraid and nervous when they're all alone at home, and they'll cry until their hooman comes back. Problem solved! In us human beings, our anxieties are far more complex and perhaps our cure is to be home all alone. Unlike dogs, our anxieties are caused by society– all the babbling, hustling, and stupidity of the world. It makes me jealous of my own dog, who sighs heavily ALLLLLL day as if his life is so hard. And I can't help but wonder, would we be better off if we were left alone?

Anxious folks, like the over-thinkers, the socially awkward, the introverts, and the stress balls, are the type of people who always have bad luck. Did you get a doggo for emotional support? Now your emotional support animal is so anxious they need an emotional support animal themselves. Now THAT'S a therapy dog. And that's probably why your awkward neighbor has a full blown zoo in the house. It takes an army to battle ones stress and sometimes that army is a pack of pooches, some cats, three birds, and maybe a ferret or two. Whatever it takes.
