One of my very worst traits is my pessimism. For much of my life, I've been a subscriber to the attitude that you can't get disappointed when you've already thought out the worst case scenario. It doesn't always work like that, of course, but once the habit is there it's very hard to break. The fact that I spend a lot of time scrolling social media doesn't help, either.
As anybody who has fallen down a negative thought spiral will know, you need an action plan in place if you want to climb out of it. One quick and easy way to start is by looking at wholesome memes. I know I feel better when I've seen a few different heartwarming posts, and I imagine you are the same. There's only one way to find out: start scrolling, and watch that mood improve. Sometimes, good things do happen on the internet.
