'Tough luck, you were 2.5 hours late': Habitually tardy friend gets 'ditched' at boys night after being insanely late for their plans; friends have a great time without him

We all have that one friend that's always late. Whether you tell them that you're meeting 2 hours earlier than the time everyone else is arriving or whether you simply enjoy their company once they've arrived, each friend group has their own way of coping. However, when a tardy friend starts to be the insolent type that disrespects everyone's time and effort in the group plans, things can get a little salty in the friendship– especially when it becomes everyone else's fault that they missed out.

In this story, a guy recalls a boys night out that didn't exactly go according to plan. When their habitually tardy friend didn't show up at the casino when everyone else did, the guys decided to have a good time without him while they waited around. Sure enough, the present group had the night of their lives (even though they lost a few hands at poker), creating memories between then that would transcend time and space.
