It's no secret that pregnancy is an incredible experience filled with magic. But to say it's all rainbows and butterflies would be a complete lie. On the one hand, sure, pregnancy is a spiritual journey that allows you to bring new life into the world. There is nothing more heartwarming (and painful) than feeling your baby's first kicks or seeing them for the first time on an ultrasound.
However, it's also important we recognize that pregnancy is not always a walk in the park. There are plenty of challenging moments and tough realities; morning sickness, hormonal changes, weird cravings, and so much more! Pregnancy takes a huge toll on our mental and physical health and it's up to our partners, family, and friends to be there for us when things get tough. Like, for example, when we are no longer able to tie our own shoes.
With that being said, we present to you a Reddit thread filled with pregnancy side effects to expect, which for some reason, no one really talks about.
