'I'm quitting in January': Manager doesn't ‘feel like’ working on Christmas then tries to guilt-trip an employee into covering their shift; he flat out refuses

Have you ever woken up to your morning alarm and thought, 'I don't feel like working today'? Most of the working class has felt this to some degree. The urge to quit your job without notice is so strong for some that they'll even call in sick or fake a doctor's appointment just to avoid another moment in the workplace. I get it, some days can be rough. But what about Christmas? Is that a day that anybody can bail on after waking up on the wrong side of the bed? Not exactly.
