Miscommunication can have you running around your apartment in a frenzy, whispering to your loved ones in a kitchen, and ultimately humiliating Kelsey Grammer more than anybody else. Unlike in television situation comedies from the 90s, not all miscommunications can be solved through a series of humorous hijinks. Sometimes, you have to pay the price for somebody else's mistakes.
Comedian and writer Ashley Ray recently went viral for having to go into work on January 2nd. That doesn't sound particularly jarring, but it is once you hear the context. At around 11 AM, her whole team got a text from their boss asking where they all were. Despite being told the office was closed from Christmas Day through January 2nd, management expected the team to work on the 2nd. Even though it was managements fault, the workers did not get off as they thought they would when they woke up on Tuesday.
