Would a message like this make you a better tipper? One grocery shopper believes so, but everyone else is split on this tactic.
Grocery delivery services are a big business these days. People get lots of other items delivered daily or weekly--- it only makes sense that grocery apps would follow suit. Some people roll their eyes at the idea of getting your food delivered, but lots of the people who use it really need and appreciate the help. Maybe you're a toddler parent whose kid throws a fit every time they have to sit in the grocery cart, or maybe you're an older person who has trouble carrying heavy bags. Whether you're in need of assistance or not, it's a nice option to have. Plus, pizza delivery has been around for decades, so… this is not even that different.
Tipping the people who shop for you is a kind thing to do. After all, they're doing the hard work of going to the store, finding exactly what you want, buying it, and driving it to your home. It's a luxury convenience, and this one shopper doesn't want their customers to forget that.
