"He really got a second chance."
If you have ever had experience with the Universe's mysterious “puppy distribution system” and got connected with your soul dog in that way, then, boy, did we find a relatable story for you. A TikToker named Hope recently posted about the newest addition to her family, a pup they named Tigar.
She and her husband are expecting their first child, so to earn some more money on the side in preparation for the baby, Hope decided to pick up some Ubering shifts. She had only been Ubering for a couple of weeks when she felt comfortable enough to sign up for Uber Pets. Little did she know, 48 hours later her life would completely change.
Her very first Uber Pets passenger had a tragic tale (or should I say tail) along with her. She was in the midst of running from a violent domestic situation with her dog. Unfortunately, she was unable to physically and financially give this dog the life he deserved, however, she was still trying. Until she got busted by the hotel she was staying at. Now, the hotel was going to charge her a weekly fee she simply could not afford or she would be kicked out on the streets. She needed to get rid of the dog ASAP or she and the dog would become homeless.
She made a very difficult decision that would have ended this pup's life way too early. Luckily, she got into Hope's Uber and when Hope found out about the tragic fate she was driving this dog towards, she intervened. Now, this dog is not only going to live, he has a furever family that intends to love him with all their might. Hope and her husband took the dog into their home with open arms and have since named him Tigar. They bore no ill judgment towards Hope's first Uber Pet's passenger, and, in fact, feel lucky that Tigar got into her car that day. Now, Tigar has nothing but happily ever after to look forward to.
