The way some parents treat the people they hire to care for their children is mindboggling. You are paying them not only so you can have time away from parenting for a little, but also to help raise your kids. Their actions are just as impressionable to your kiddos as yours are. So why are Karen moms and dads just throwing these professional child caretakers around like nothing?
A recent nanny, @spongebo*bfancypants on Reddit, posted that she got fired on the spot after having to take only 6 days off for a medical emergency. For some reason, it didn't occur to the parents employing her that she was a human too and she was going through a very traumatic event in her life. They instead took this as an opportunity to fire her. The most insane part is that the entitled mother still had the audacity to text her saying she was upset about firing her too and that she still wanted to be “friends.”
