‘It was the worst Mother’s Day’: Woman Disappointed After Her Husband Makes Tater Tots For Breakfast and Calls It Her Gift

The expectation behind Mother's Day can be colossal. Buying gifts, flowers, chocolates, cards; making the whole day seem like a grand gesture and adventure to fulfill all of her dreams. This may not hold up in reality, also baring in mind that Mother's Day is every year, along with her birthday. But the expectation can still be high. For some husbands, it may be easy and simple to create the perfect day for their wives, for others, it could be a whole new version of the underworld. 

It also depends on the woman herself. Some moms really don't mind, they want a low-key day and don't like to make a fuss. For others…well, you get the idea. For others, they want the world to worship the ground they walk on and kiss their feet as soon as they sit down. There's nothing wrong with a loving massage to celebrate Mother's Day, but we're all still human.
