One of the first things a young person should learn and become proficient at before embarking on the road to adulthood is plane etiquette. There are three main guidelines that one should always abide by. Window etiquette comes first, followed by aisle etiquette, and finally—possibly the most crucial—baby/parent etiquette.
The original poster (OP) is traveling with her 19-month-old son on a three-hour flight. As instructed by the airline, she only purchased one seat, hoping the baby would drift off to sleep in her arms as they prepared for the landing. The airline does, however, guarantee that it will do everything in its power to assist parents who are traveling with small children, so when the flight attendant saw that OP was traveling alone with a baby, she offered right away to swap seats with someone occupying an empty row to make her trip a little bit better. However, the traveler began to cause a commotion and wouldn't move seats despite the air hostess' orders.
So, make sure to read the story below if you're interested in learning the specifics of what happened and if OP gave in to the problematic passenger! Additionally, after you're done reading, don't forget to check out the story about the demanding guest that gets banned from hotel after messing with the front desk clerk over a credit card mix-up!
