We all know that weddings are not cheap. Whoever you invite, you're paying for them in all ways possible. You pay for their drinks for the night, their meals and dessert, you're even paying to rent the chair that they sit on during the ceremony and reception. So whoever you choose to invite to your wedding, if you're willing to pay all that money for them, it means you like them, and you want them to share this special day with you. But plus ones can get a little tricky. Some brides opt to only give plus ones to the people that they know are in long-term relationships, while others give all of their single guests a plus one invite. In that case, you sometimes have strangers come to your wedding.
The bride in this story gave her brother a plus one invite, assuming he'd invite his long-term girlfriend whom he lives with, as any normal person would assume. When the bride reached out to her brother to ask about her girlfriend's dietary restrictions for the catering, he told her that he had actually invited his girl best friend, who the bride hates. So, the bride took things into her own hands.
