The world changes so quickly that you're probably facing conundrums as a parent that you never expected you would have to face. When you were young, imagining having a family of your own, you had no way of anticipating that one day you'd have to decide how much CoComelon you'd let your child watch. Or that you'd have to endure your kid showing you their favorite gaming live streamer, and you have no idea what's going on, let alone imagine trying to guide your child through remote learning. Or wondering what age you'd allow them to have a TikTok account.
It's easy to get overwhelmed by all the "new" stuff that parents have to contend with. But in reality, they're just different versions of the same issues we grew up with. Our parents could have never imagined MySpace or video games. But most of us survived anyway. And now we have other parents on Twitter helping us through.
