Woman Feels Body Insecure After Pregnancy, Husband Makes it All the Worse After He Comments That It’s ‘not the same as before’
Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. Talking about a woman's body is a controversial topic, and can easily lead to tears, yelling, or just discomfort. As women, we've been scrutinized for decades about our appearances, putting so much pressure on us to be beautiful, feminine, and skinny. It's no wonder so many women develop eating disorders. When all you hear is how you're not good enough and could be better, it gets to a person.
Although talking about bodies isn't inherently negative, there's still a tactful way to maneuver the topic. And guys, when it comes to talking about it with your lady, choose your words carefully. One sentence can get stuck in her head, running through it over and over again.
This brings us to the Reddit piece. It's true that maybe the woman already has some disordered thinking when it comes to her body, but her husband's comments certainly aren't helping.
