'She took everything except her dog': Woman Cheats on Her Husband and Abandons Her Dog, Gets Angry When Husband Rehomes the Pupper

Abandoning a dog is one of the worst things that you can do in our opinion. Because dogs are angels, all they want is to bring their humans happiness, and they don't deserve cruelty like that. Or so we thought. We thought that dog abandonment was the worst thing, but this wife (probably soon to be ex-wife) has somehow topped that. Not only did she abandon the dog, she also cheated on her husband, took everything from him (except the dog) and then got mad at him when he rehomed the dog, taking it to a couple that is actually going to love it and be there for it. 

We're baffled by the fact that some people are actually not sure who is the bad guy here, because it's pretty obvious to us. We hope that this man can find happiness again, and we hope that the doggo is living its best life in its new home with its new, loving family.

    Look, this story could have gone in a few different ways. It would have been that she was involved, actively looking for someone to take the dog, that she was helping out with the responsibility from afar financially, or anything else. But it wasn't. This story is about as clear-cut as it gets when it comes to who is in the wrong and who is not.

    There is no place for this woman to be angry after having done all of this. Cheating, leaving, abandoning the dog. Too much. Really, dodged a bullet by not having kids with her, because if she's so quick to abandon family… then maybe it's not time to have one of her own.

    She said that her boyfriend was allergic to dogs so she couldn't take him. I told her to take him to her parents' house or to a friend. She said she would make arrangements and come back.

    She didn't. After I tried contacting her too many times about the dog, AND ONLY ABOUT THE DOG, she blocked me. I took care of him until his food started running low. I wasn't going to spend any money on him. So I gave him to a friend of a friend. One of their dogs had recently died and they were familiar with his breed. We got together at a dog park to see if their dog got along with my ex's.

    They got along great and he went home with them. That was two months ago. My ex finally unblocked me and contacted me to say that she still hasn't found anyone to take her dog and to ask me to keep him for her.

    I was honest and told her the dog was long gone. She is pissed and wanted the contact information for the person I gave the dig to. I refused. She said she was going to sue me. I told her to go ahead.

    Our mutuals are divided. Some think she's a for banding her dog. Some think im the for giving away her property. I think she lost all rights to him when she blocked me.
