If you're unfamiliar with Bessie, click here to read about her entitlement, shown in her expectation for others to do her job for her. After you've done that, come back and read this almost unbelievable update.
I don't know about you, but I've been wondering about Bessie since I read the first part of the story. Of course, there can be several things going on in her life that might influence the way she acts and reacts to stimuli, but in the workplace, you gotta let that ish go. Making your coworkers' lives more difficult only reflects poorly on you and ruins everyone else's day. Though she probably shouldn't have been given a second chance, the GM of this hotel thought that the first boomer freakout equated to a lesson learned. *Wrong answer button noise.* It did not.
In this two-parter, the original poster (OP) says that on the first day in her new position, she showed up almost 30 minutes late and video-called her boyfriend during the breakfast shift while hiding away in the laundry room. When the laundry manager asks her to knock it off, Bessie loses it and threatens to call the GM (for a reason unknown to me or OP). Bessie proceeded to play loud music the rest of the day. The following day, Bessie partakes in similar obnoxious behavior and sees the employee who took her old position. Naturally, Bessie freaks out. The employee doesn't react, so she then directs her anger toward the laundry manager. Scroll to read the entire story.
