Welcome back, dear readers, to the most wholesome and pawsitive thing you will see on the web this week - our original weekly segment where we bring you all of the newly adopted faces we came across this week.
Every single Friday, we start your day off with this dose of wholesomeness. We do it because we cannot think of a single better way to start the final day of the week than with a whole new collection of happy cats finding their purrfect forever homes.
We would like to take a moment to thank all those of you who adopted recently, those of you who adopted in the past, and those who will in the future. Thank you for giving a warm and loving home to all these lovely kitties. And extra special, heartfelt thank you goes to those of you who adopted a senior cat, a sick cat, or some other cat who is in need of extra love and care. You are their heroes, and you're ours as well. Thank you, and have an amazing weekend!
"Title is self explanatory. I had forgotten to get dog food on my way to work, so my husband went to pick it up when he got off. I got cat pictures of the kitties waiting for adoption. Cue the awww cause I love cats. This little lady kept pulling him towards her every time he got close. He called me and was like I know you've been wanting to add another cat to the family. He thought he was getting himself a cat, she hid until I got home. She came right to me and plopped down on the couch next to me. He said well, I guess I got you a cat. She is long and dainty with tiny paws and green eyes with a tiny raspy meow to match. Still deciding a name, as all of our cats have had halloween or horror names."
"I just adopted this little baby, and named him JiJi because Kiki's delivery service is my favorite movie.
When I arrived at the foster home the woman taking care of him congratulated me because apparently black cats are rarely adopted.
That surprised because they are so cute, chill and also love when I can just see their little eyes."
"Adopted him a month ago :) He's 5 months old now and was taken to a foster care with other ~10 baby kittens from one of my city suburbs where stray Scottish fold cats were hiding. One of his eyes is left permanently foggy as a residual effect from cat flu. As he was raised in a very loving foster care since 3 weeks old, he knows his way around other cats and humans, and is extremely loving and friendly."
"Hey everyone! Meet Oggy, adopted this little girl from a friend. She's about 2.5 months old. It's been two weeks and I think she already likes me. I'm blessed. I am her only companion most of the time. However I have a 9-6 job because of which I have to leave her alone for about 10-12 hours, after returning I make sure to spend time playing with her, she's super active. Do you guys think she'll be okay staying alone for long hours?"
"Hello! Wanted to share my two black kitties that I adopted! One of them has a ringworm infection on his paw unfortunately:( as a new cat mama I feel like a level 1 noob facing a level 5 mini boss. But I'm more excited than panicked and I cannot wait to share my life with them!
But I'm so glad they're home!"
"Last night my husband and I adopted this little 1lb creamsicle boy. He's roughly the size of a squirrel, but has the confidence of a full grown brain cell.
We named him Bourdain, and now my husband keeps calling him Chef"
