There is no escaping the passage of time, and much as it can seem like the realities of our lives are here to stay at the time, there are plenty of things in this world that will probably cease to exist in a couple of generations. While we may not necessarily live to see the complete downfall of the internet, for example, who knows what the far-flung future may bring? Something a lot of us are going to be around to witness is the extinction of many things that were at the height of popularity when baby boomers were at their peak. This was the subject of a recent AskReddit thread, where people listed many examples that already seemed to be on their way out. We could hope that 'being mean to customer service workers' was one of these, but alas, this can be something that transcends all ages and generations.
