Every parent makes mistakes, some of which can seem stupid and avoidable in hindsight. Keeping a small person with little common sense or ability to do anything useful safe is pretty darn difficult at times. However, when it comes to parenting there are some decisions that can only be designated as reckless. Occasionally, there can be no excuses.

This was the overwhelming conclusion of the internet after a TikTok-influencing stay-at-home mom uploaded a video about her family's flight to Thailand. Revealing how her one-year-old had acquired a fever of nearly 104 degrees a couple of hours before they were due to leave for the airport, the parents decided to proceed with their travel plans because they had cost them thousands of dollars. Needless to say, this wasn't an easy experience for them and many viewers were adamant that it was wrong to put a price on their child's health. It was a dumb thing to do.
