Everybody has their own personal history with video games. Most of us played to some degree when we were younger, then maybe fell off sometime in adulthood, when life and responsibilities got in the way. Maybe now we only play when we have a few hours on the weekend, or when the boys are coming over for boys' night. But who knows, maybe when you retire you'll finally have the time to beat Dark Souls.

But some of us never stopped. Some of us still find ways to engage in our hobby at breakneck speeds. It's all about priorities. Sometimes self-care is all about saying "Sorry, I'm going to need to reschedule our date tonight. I need to spend some time with my good friend Animal Crossing. It's urgent."
