Pregnant Woman Demands Man Give Up His Window Seat for Her, He Refuses, Sparking Tensions Throughout the Entire Plane

In this Reddit piece, the original poster (OP) is a man who's booked a window seat on a flight due to his height. It's a long haul flight, 12 hours, and since he's 6'4" he wanted to make sure he has extra room to sleep. When he arrives at his seat, he sees a pregnant woman sitting in it.     considerate, you weren't obligated to give up your seat, especially since the situation was handled by the flight attendant. The pressure from other passengers doesn't change that. You made a reasonable choice for your needs!

    Just a polite "I paid extra for that seat and I intend to sit in it". Firm, direct, devoid of any reasoning or emotion. If she don't move, then you did the right thing calling a flight attendant.
