Granddaughter saves her grandma’s cat from lonely life in a shelter after she passes by adopting her fluffy feline: ‘[She] is smiling at you both from somewhere’

We all love our life with our fluffy feline friends, which is why it's difficult to think about the lives of our cats if, because of any reason, we cannot take care of them anymore. It breaks our hearts just to think about it. This is why we're thankful for this one big-hearted hooman who took in her grandma's cat, after she passed away. The granddaughter was already a cat mama, so she needed to integrate her grandma's cat in her home - while both are still mourning the loos of the grandmother.

This big-hearted granddaughter turned to the online feline family for help and guidance - and they shared their advice and condolences. After a week she posted a heartwarming update about her new feline friend, letting everyone know the cat is integrating well thanks to all their advice and support. She told them she now purrs, even gives headbutts, and provided a couple of cute pictures of this adorable ball of floof.

It's ameowzing to see how the global online feline family comes together to help a fellow feline fan in need, especially in such a hard time when she was mourning her grandmother. And it's so wholesome from the granddaughter to provide such a heartwarming update, that actually warms the hearts world wide this winter. It melts the heart, in the best way pspspssible, to see such successful adoption stories - especially under these specific circumstances. It was not just a cat being adopted - this is a house cat saved from being sent to a shelter, while mourning the loss of her beloved hooman. It makes us so happy to know the cat and the granddaughter can comfort each other in their difficult time.

Even if all occurred so fast, this commenter is right - the reduction of suffering is a very important factor here. And it carries on to this story, of the granddaughter adopting her grandma's cat - they both reduce each other's suffering of their shared loss, and can comfort each other.
