'I sacrificed my cat for the greater good': Cat pawrent forces her fluffy fur baby to cuddle her daughter to sleep, and the comments section demands hissterical reparations

The role of cat children within the family unit is a constantly evolving one. When they first join our families, we are usually single or at best in a relationship, allowing them to be the bubbly little fur babies that they are. However, with time, marriage and a few other factors thrown in, they can soon find themselves the senior child in a quickly growing family. The once focused attention of their pawrents now scattered among several children, leaving them feeling demotivated and dejected. To make matters worse, much like in this story, they can often be commandeered into doing things that are generally outside of their purrview (as many older siblings end up having to do).

So today we are asking ourselves, the question of whether or not this cat pawrent was right in enlisting the unoffered support of their cat child in order to solve the problem they were having with their hooman child. There is a lot of good points being made in the comments that follow for both sides of the argument, which makes it that much harder to decided if what happened was right. But one thing we can all agree on is that the cute cat involved handled herself with grace and dignity throughout the ordeal and did not even resort to clawminal behavior, when she really could have.

Well, this certainly is a tough one. On the one hand, it is wonderfully wholesome to hear that the cat, even while unwilling, delivered the duty that was thrust upon her and made sure that sweet child went to sleep. On the other hand, nonconsensual cuddling is thoroughly frowned upon, as you can tell from the reactions of commenters below….

Possibly the only opinion in the comments that is legit, considering it comes straight from a cat's mouth. However, this cat commenter forgot to include what kind of reparations would be appropriate for such a transgression, though we might consider a nice fish soup to be enough to mend this broken fence.
