25 Introvert Memes That Accurately Depict the Desire to be Alone (January 12, 2025)
Welcome back introverts of the internet. Whether you're man, woman, child, or animal, we all can be introverted. There's something about modern day culture and society, the rise of technology, that allows us to be introverted guilt free. Unlike the days without cell phones, we had less of an excuse to cancel plans, to say no to the hang out, or to prefer your alone time. Nowadays, alone time is crucial and usually what we all love to do with our rest time is something with technology. Whether it's scrolling on Instagram, watching videos on YouTube, a show, or a movie, we love to just sit back and relax in front of a screen. Sure, there are some of us left out there who prefer a good book to anything else, but that doesn't make them more or less introverted.
Introverted comes from the feeling that we recharge from social situations by being alone. The joy of looking forward to not opening your mouth to talk, not having to hear someone's voice talking to you, not having to look someone in the eye, not having to feel anyone else's energy.
