I had an experience once where I was dating a guy who seemed perfect on paper. He took me out, he was a gentleman, and it seemed really compatible to talk to him. Though it had only been a few dates, I had a good feeling about him. That is until I ran into a girl I'd never met, and she told me her friend had dated him recently. This serendipitous encounter left me feeling like it was a sign from the heavens. She told me that not only did her friend have a bad experience dating him, but a couple months after they broke up, he was persistently pursuing the friend! She showed me the shocking messages, and it didn't take long for me to turn the other way.
