The moment a father is walking his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day is probably the most moving in the entire wedding. I mean, sure, the vows and the kiss are great, but there is something about this father-daughter moment, this somewhat of a farewell, that just makes me bawl at every wedding, even at weddings where I don't even know the bride or her father. 

When my dad, for example, had to walk me, and my two sisters at their weddings, down the aisle, he cried so much that it was hard to even look at his face. He was so emotional and sweet, it was a moment I would never ever forget. I genuinely see it as one of the most cherished memories I have with him, and I hope every daughter gets to have a similar moment with their beloved fathers.

Unfortunately, some parents succumb to their egos and end up putting themselves first, even on big days like their children's wedding days. Just like the father in the story below.
