Many bosses believe that their employees should kneel to the ground and kiss their feet for all they have (or haven't) done for their subordinates. Why? Well, the specific genre of narcissistic bosses likely assumes they should be thanked for doing nothing at all, and their employees should be grateful for the opportunity to be their boss's figurative punching bag. It's not a great feeling dealing with a boss who doesn't give you what you need, but it's an amazing feeling when you finally get to leave that toxic workplace behind you for bigger and better things.

The employee who posted this story is doing exactly that. They needed full-time hours that their boss allegedly couldn't give them, so they went searching elsewhere for more work. In the process, they were offered the promise of a full-time position, and now the employee plans to leave their toxic boss in the past. To say that the boss didn't take it lightly would be a generous understatement…
