Hey there, queens of the internet. Breakups are different these days. 100 years ago, or even 30, when you broke up with someone it was a clean break. You didn't even have to block them, or spiral wondering what they're up to and if they're dating someone else. These days, with social media it's all too easy to wonder about what they're up to, and even harder to fight the urge to look them up and actually find out how they're doing without needing to talk to them or see them. I think it actually makes it much harder for people to get over relationships when they can search for the person at any given moment. It makes it especially difficult if your ex is in a new relationship and they're posting photos about it. 

So instead of wondering about your ex and harking back to the past, maybe it's time to scroll some hilarious dating memes to remind you that the grass is always greener. People who are in relationships may feel like they would love to be single for a day, and many single may wish to be in love and in a healthy relationship.
