When a woman is pregnant, her entire work changes. If she's in between jobs, this may not bode well for applying to new ones. If she's been at a company for a long time, they may or may not give her all the proper benefits she deserves as a new mom. With financial burdens and responsibilities to take care of a newborn baby, it's surprising more people don't have children.

He claims that she was probably around 3 months pregnant when she was hired, and due to her changing hormones and body, her changing health, she's not able to give it her all at work. Instead of blaming the company, he blames her, much to the internet's distress.
