Hey there, ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Inheritance can make or break someone's financial situation. Depending on what age one comes into a large inheritance can greatly affect their life decisions. I once had a friend from high school who got a large inheritance from a relative and I truly believe this spiraled his whole life. Instead of going to university and following any sort of mainstream life track, he dropped out of high school, traveled a bunch, lived from one place to another absolutely aimlessly, and I don't think he was ever that happy. Sure, he had money and could afford whatever he wanted. He didn't dress nice, nor take care of himself. Getting so much money so young just made him give up on life and it made him lost.

  • Why would this woman be expected to give her inheritance away? It's an inheritance, it's in her name and no one has any right to take it from her. It's absolutely entitled for the uncle and aunt to ask for half. Just because they could use the money doesn't mean she has to give it.
