'It's the only thing I truly wanted': Woman promised Curio cabinet by late grandmother, refuses to give cabinet up when her relatives demand it weeks later, claiming they contributed to it, despite heirloom being promised to granddaughter

It seems like entitlement is making a comeback in this family feud! A family heirloom drips history and heritage, and its new holder is normally chosen with maximum thought and intent by the previous owner. So, just because you want something doesn't mean that you deserve it. When someone is presented with the honor of receiving a family heirloom, or at least promised one, it can be a rather special milestone in someone's life…but when that heirloom is threatened to be taken by some entitled family member, with no supporting argument, that moment tends to stand out just as much!
 

This granddaughter is left feeling completely disrespected by her uncle and his wife as they intend to go after the one family heirloom her late grandmother promised her, a vintage cabinet. It's the only thing she had her heart set on, and now her own family members are demanding it belongs to them, after claiming their previous gifts were 'ugly'. Ahh, the audacity…Who wants to explain to them that this grandmother wasn't some secret Santa whose gifts you could just exchange? But if she were, this couple would be blacklisted on the naughty list for sure!
