After hearing meows, coworkers rescued three fragile kittens trapped above the ceiling and helped them find permanent homes
On a random day in December, the ceiling at work meowed, instantly turning a normal work shift into a rescue mission. The team couldn't ignore the sound. After a lot of very determined problem-solving and some definitely correct ladder usage, it became clear that kittens were trapped above the ceiling and needed help.

Couple finds itty bitty kitty on a busy road on Christmas, rescues her, take her to the vet, where the vet kindly charges them no money, and takes her home
Finding a kitten on Christmas Eve is a Christmas miracle, and that is simply a fact. We don't think that anyone could argue that this was anything short of a miracle. To find a kitten on Christmas Eve on a busy road, a healthy kitten, a kitten who didn't need to be coaxed, who just came when called, ready to come home and celebrate the holidays together - that's a miracle, plain and simple. Add to that the fact that these rescuers somehow managed to find an available vet on Christmas Eve and that vet then took care of the kitty free of charge, and you might start believing in something greater.

Cute cat dad creates Christmas meowgic by sending purrfectly posed portraits of his ginger cat to his family for 8 years in a row
As if we didn't have enough pictures of our cats already! Something every cat owner loves, without fail, is taking ridiculous pictures of their fluffy felines. If anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they're lying to you. It is one of the best purrks of having a cat: taking pictures of them sleeping in silly pawsitions, dressed up in funny outfits, or literally doing anything. To be honest, we don't even need a reason. We take pictures of them all the time, just existing.

Wonderful woman waits patiently until the sweet neighborhood stray is ready to be adopted and become a house cat
Some cat adoption stories are an immediate and urgent delivery dropped on you by the Cat Distribution System. The kind of situations where you understand "This cat needs immediate help - and I'm the designated human to do it. Also, adoption." But some CDS deliveries don't happen overnight, and not in a way that can make the human understand in an instant their place in the cat's life. Trusting is hard for some of the strays out there, being on the streets for so long has its implications on the soul. Some cats may take time to trust, but when they do - it's like a whole new world of calm, happiness, and adorable purrs is opening up for you.

A stray orange cat appeared, chose affection over food, and found his furever place as the third kitty with these pawrents
In a neighborhood overwhelmed by stray cats and bordered by a busy road, a small group of ferals had become regular visitors for these pawrents. Feeding them was part of daily life. Then one night, something changed. An orange tabby appeared on the hood of the car parked beneath the living room window, crying loudly and staring straight inside, as if he knew exactly where he needed to be.

Group of coworkers rescues 3 tiny kittens who were stuck inside the ceiling in the office, immeidately fall in love and take them home
Sometimes, the cat distribution has funny delivery methods. We've said it before, and we will say it again - you never know when or where or how your future cat will adopt you. It could be in the normal way - with you walking through a shelter until the most purrfect cat in the world catches your eye and changes your whole world. Or it could be you getting handed a kitten through a Starbucks window, or you getting five kittens ding-dong-ditched on your front door one night with no warning, or a kitten could literally fly in through your window, into your lap, and straight into your heart.
