It is no coincidence that these puppers have been drawn to sleeping on their pawrent’s pillows. After all, we too love the feeling of a soft cushion gently cradling our heads as we drift off into dream land. And for a pupper that feeling is magnified ten fold because they get to enjoy that softness while also indulging in the smell of their pawrents and the pride of getting to inhabit a space that is ‘owned’ by their pawrent. It is a great honor amongst canine kind and there are more than a few doggos who have never had the good fortune to enjoy such a privilege.

Honestly, we find ourselves feeling rather jealous at this point. Mainly because there is no experience that can match the feeling of being a dog sleeping on your pawrent’s pillow. Other than perhaps once upon a time when you might have slept in your own parent’s bed. But those times are gone and as adults the significance of sleeping in your parent’s bed has certainly lost its charm. Maybe we could try sleeping in our dogs’ bed. Though the idea of inhaling fur while we sleep does not sound like a pleasurable one.
