After a year and a half of socializing, the sweet stray cat finally comes inside to a comfrtable life of a house princess: 'Never thought this would happen!'

There's something so satisfying in a feral feline turning into a purring prince or princess, ruling their domestic dominion as if they were born for it.

Every cat deserves a home, we don't think there's any dispute over this sentiment. But some cats just take more time than others - more time to get used to human company, more time to open their hearts, more time to trust. And that's understandable - life on the streets is never easy for anyone, let alone a cat who can barely communicate their needs and has to fend for themselves. But even these cats who take their sweet time are there on the list of the Cat Distribution System, slowly making their way to the people matched for them, who will give them their forever home.

And this sweet stray cat really took her time. A year and a half of socialization attempts finally bore fruit, and she agreed to come into the house. Little by little, she made her transformation from a street cat to a fully-fledged house feline, ruling her house with an iron paw and a big heart. We can't help but wish her and her humans all the best, they deserve no less.

First of all, seeing this sweet thing being so comfortable on a soft blanket, “stealing” her hooman's body heat, looking straight at them with a loving look - that's all we need to know this cat is safe, sound, and in the forever home she deserves. What a beautiful house princess she had become. All stray cats deserve exactly that, and we're happy to know this one got “promoted” to a purring princess, with a house to rule as her kingdom. Any cat person would be happy to know of this. These adoption stories bring us joy in the best way possible.

A year and a half of socialization attempts shows dedication. These people really wanted this cat to have her home - preferably with them. And with that work put into it, they truly are the right people for the job. That is, of course, the job of raising a spoiled house princess, and letting her rule their lives. What a sweet thing.

That is true, we agree with this statement. When a person takes a stray cat inside, to raise in a safe and warm environment, they really become heroes to these cats. It comes with a lot of responsibility, for sure, but it's a wholesome sacrfice to make - and to become their cats' heroes.
